This the second time I've used San Jose Drain and Main. As with the first time, communication was excellent. Giovani was right on time, got the drain running freely and gave us advice as to how to keep the drain, well, draining. I appreciate his attitude of if it isn't broken, don't fix it. Bottom line: no upsell, just an honest craftsman of his trade. Honestly, he's a breath of fresh air and has a great sense of humor. Bonus points! Call him. Hire him. Easy peasy.

We had a problem with a bad thermocouple on our water heater, and needed it replaced, which is generally an easy job.  Though the plumber was professional and on time, it cost us $275 for a $20 part, and an hour of labor!  He did a good job, but it was expensive, for sure, particularly since it wasn't an emergency service.

Same day service! Fixed our kitchen sink clog in a jiffy. In and out in less than 40 minutes. Thorough job. Quick turn around time on emails.

Great service and very quick in responding. Changed out shower cartridge with no issues. Most other services don't respond as quickly.

Khoa (owner) is the Sherlock Holmes in Plumbing and I'm not kidding. Long story short: He saved us tens of thousands of dollars and the troubles and anxiety along with the fixing with his honesty and professionalism.

Here's the long story.
Last year, our sewer was stuck and we called up a company (let's call it company W). The team from company W found some roots in the pipe beneath one of our toilets and they proposed to dig up the concrete and replace the pipe. With no experience in handling plumbing issues, we bought in, thinking it might be the right thing to do given other two consultations gave similar suggestions. Company W dug up all the concrete around the toilet, made the fix and charged us thousands. After the fix, they checked the pipe with a camera and said it looked OK. There might be a tiny bit of root in the later section in the main line pipe but it should be fine to last for quite some years.
This year, we found roots again in the later section. We called up the same company W to inspect. Two guys showed up (M and A, A was part of the team who did the job last year). Without fully pinpointing where the roots came in, M started talking about how serious it was and proposed similar fix as last time: dig up all the concrete along the pipe and replace it. Except this time it would be all the concrete along the pipe and would go across two rooms. He also talked about how contractors would charge us 20-30k if you find some to do the job; but they would try their best to save our foundation structure and the walls. M said he would send the quote next day.
We felt something was fishy. Why didn't they pinpoint where the crack was first before proposing such a destructive plan? And didn't they tell us things would be OK for some years after the fix last year? Then through a friend's referral, we found Capitol Plumbing. Khoa showed up with another plumber in the weekend morning. After hearing detailed description from us, they first spent more than 30min checking the routing of the whole sewer system by running facet water. They had a plan. Then they spent the next 1.5 hours cleaning the roots and further diagnosed where the root entrance was. After they cleaned up everything, Khoa told us how to maintain root free in the sewer. He also told us similar stories about how other plumbing companies exaggerating situations and talking customers into doing much bigger projects than necessary.

Khoa charged us very reasonable price in the end. Most importantly, he saved us all the trauma going through a destructive project.

Gustavo and Ismael were terrific!  I was actually lucky, as I saw their van in front of a neighbor's house.  I asked Gustavo and Ismael if they would mind coming by my house for an estimate.  They said, yes, and even agreed to fix the leak once they were done with my neighbor's plumbing issue.  It was a Friday night.  I thought, Wow, most people would want to go home on a Friday night, but these two people were nice enough to take a look -- and then fix the problem right away!  I will use Handy Plumbing Man for my future plumbing needs.

Javed was very fast to respond to my request for service.  He fixed a leaking hose in the backyard, a toilet, and the water shut-off valve in the front yard.  He was very friendly and easy to communicate with via phone and text.  I will definitely use them again!

Amazing same day service with water heater and main replacement.  Engineer arrived prepared with top of the line fittings, hoses, and hardware (other providers needed multiple trips to the hardware  store).  Easy to work with, highly recommended!

Thank you to Anton and United Plumbing.  He cleared out the roots growing into my sewer line and creating a blockage.  We usually use a different plumber, but they didn't respond to our call and we were getting desperate.  Overall United Plumbing is good and I'll consider them again in the future

My kitchen sink was clogged and flooding. I sent a request for a quote and Steven got back to me in less than 5 minutes. He was extremely professional, wearing a mask during his whole stay, and respectful of our home, taking off his shoes. He was in and out in 20 minutes. Fast work and very efficient. Great experience with Crown Plumbing. I had a broken hose spigot (wouldn't shut off) and I also couldn't shut off my water main. I called Crown and they sent out Luis Perez that afternoon. Luis texted me to let me know that he was on his way and he showed up in the time window. He was friendly and professional. He fixed the problems and also showed me a tip so my water main valve wouldn't freeze up again. Fees were reasonable and my problem was fixed. Thank you Luis! When I have another plumbing issue (and I know I will some day), I'll call Crown again.

I called very late after regular typical business hours not expecting my call to be answered. To my surprise, they picked up and listened to me explain that my current water heater was leaking and without hot water. He asked for the basic info of what tank I had currently and gave me a negotiable quote with and appointment for the next morning. That was a win already. The crew showed up as promised, got to work, and finished timely. They answered all questions, gave their word to stand by their work, and very responsive throughout the experience.

Kiet is a top notch guy. I had a leaking pipe and my hot water heater went out. Kiet and his brother fixed it without issue and did a good job. I would highly recommend him, he's knowledgeable and he did what he said he would in a timely fashion. Thanks!

By all measures, great service!
1. Fast reply to initial post, within 20 minutes of posting a service request.
2. Fast response time to schedule and provide services. Even on the weekend.
3. Friendly, polite, professional, and all around great customer relations from Khan.
4. Where it counts in the end - the work product - Khan quickly remedied our plumbing issue. He requested that I check to make sure the work was satisfactorily completed, and yes, it was.
5. Pricing was less than other quotes, (which took much longer to respond).

Summary:

I dropped the drain snake into second floor shower drain. Called in Drain Master. I thought this is gonna be a big project. Dave came and tried to help me to fish out the lost snake with his own snake. It wasn't successful as expected. But he did help me locate where the lost snake is and suggest a DIY approach. There is no push for doing any fix with them. Just pure honesty and intention to offer the help. He didn't charge me either for his effort.  Five stars for the integrity and honesty that are rarely seen nowadays.
